Dear ABReN Members,
The Australian-Based Ethiopian Researchers Network (ABReN) is pleased to invite Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from members who are interested in taking an active role in supporting and strengthening our growing network.
We are currently seeking interested members for the following three opportunities:
1. ABReN State and Territory Focal Points/Local Representatives
We are seeking one representative from each Australian state and territory to serve as an ABReN focal point or local representative.
The representatives will help strengthen communication and engagement between ABReN and members within their respective states and territories. They may also support local networking and engagement activities and contribute to the growth and development of the network.
2. ABReN Advertising and Promotion Policy/Guideline Development Task Force
We are seeking interested members to join a task force responsible for developing an ABReN Advertising and Promotion Policy or Guideline.
The task force will help develop clear principles and procedures to guide how research opportunities, events, services, organisations and other relevant activities are advertised or promoted through ABReN's communication platforms, including email, social media and other channels. The task force will work collaboratively with the ABReN Executive Council to develop a practical, transparent and appropriate policy or guideline that aligns with the values and objectives of ABReN.
3. ABReN Annual Conference Organising Committee
We are also seeking two enthusiastic members to join the Seminar Organising Committee for the upcoming ABReN Annual Conference, planned for late October.
Committee members will contribute to the planning, coordination and delivery of the conference. These opportunities provide an excellent chance to contribute to the development of ABReN, connect and collaborate with fellow researchers and professionals, and support the growth of the Ethiopian research community in Australia.
